Abstract
Entre los objetivos del Parque Cultural del rio Martin destaca la proteccion, conservacion y difusion del Patrimonio Cultural y Natural. Sin embargo ha sido el arte rupestre, como bien patrimonial de este espacio protegido, el rasgo y nexo comun de delimitacion de este Parque Cultural en la provincia de Teruel. En este sentido, en el presente articulo, se describen los trabajos emprendidos de cara a la conservacion del soporte rocoso del abrigo con pinturas rupestres de la Canada de Marco en Alcaine (Teruel), consistentes en la estabilizacion de urgencia de dos grandes bloques de piedra en grave riesgo de desprendimiento y en el inicio de un estudio pormenorizado para el diagnostico de patologias que afectan a las pinturas, estableciendo mecanismos de seguimiento, control y conservacion.
