Canada Lithium Corp. successfully produced battery-grade lithium carbonate from its processing plant near Val d'Or, Qubec. Sample shipments were sent to partner Tewoo Group in China. Rodinia Lithium Inc. relinquished 1,012 claims that made up the company's Clayton Valley lithium project in Nevada, US. The developer decided not to renew the claims, which it began exploring in 2009, following a decision by the state's Bureau of Land Management to increase annual mining claim fees from $140/claim to $1,120/claim. China's Ministry of Commerce approved Tianqi Lithium Industries' takeover of 58% of the equity in Talison Lithium Austra lia Pty.
