Abstract
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to Nara, Japan and the 1st ACM Multimedia International Workshop on Cloud-Based Multimedia Applications and Services for E-Health (CBMAS-EH 2012), in conjunction with ACM Multimedia 2012: Worldwide Premier Multimedia conference, November 2, 2012. We've invited a keynote speaker to deliver a keynote presentation. We are delighted to inform you that the head of the Serious Gaming group at the Multimedia Communications Lab. Darmstadt, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Stefan Gobel, has kindly consented to deliver the keynote address titled Cloudbased Games for Health -- Serious Games and Social Media as Multimedia Technologies for Healthcare. Thanks to the reviewers, keynote speakers, and Program Committee members whose invaluable effort and dedicated service led to the quality technical program and success of CBMASEH 2012.
