Le paradoxe de Facebook est d’etre a la fois une entreprise cotee au NASDAQ a un prix tres speculatif et devenue en dix ans un quasi-service public. De plus, chaque utilisateur consent a laisser la societe exploiter son activite en ligne pour doper son offre publicitaire et devenir extremement rentable. L’ecosysteme Facebook incarne un capitalisme cognitif devenu plus puissant que bien des Etats. La question actuelle est de savoir si cette entreprise saura gerer les responsabilites mondiales que lui confere sa position unique pour articuler une pensee coherente au vingt-et-unieme siecle. Tel est l’enjeu du texte recemment diffuse par Mark Zuckerberg, Building Global Community. Cette premiere contribution expose les intentions exprimee au debut de 2017 par le fondateur de Facebook.
