L'obligation de reagir vite et bien pour fournir les meilleurs produits ou services oblige les entreprises d'aujourd'hui, qu'elles soient des multinationales ou des PME locales, a travailler en reseau. Si plusieurs entreprises-reseau se sont developpees depuis 30 ou 40 ans, peu ont ose travailler en synergie avec une universite dans le but d'innover dans les facons de faire ou de concevoir de nouveaux outils pour le developpement de leur reseau.Bombardier et la Chaire Bombardier Produits recreatifs de l'Universite du Quebec a Trois-Rivieres font exception a la regle. Depuis pres de dix ans, cette grande entreprise et une trentaine de PME cooperent avec le centre de recherche universitaire afin d'ameliorer la qualite des produits offerts et de rendre les sous-traitants et le reseau plus performants. Une cooperation qui a permis a Bombardier de reprendre le premier rang mondial dans le domaine des motoneiges et des motomarines et a ses partenaires sous-traitants de croitre et de se diversifier. Une experience qui a permis, par la multiplication des echanges, d'augmenter les savoirs et les savoir-faire. Un exemple concret de ce que les chercheurs universitaires et les entreprises d'ici et d'ailleurs peuvent developper en partenariat.
