Au Canada, le gouvernement du Parti conservateur dirigé par Stephen Harper (2006-2015) a retiré le pays du Protocole de Kyoto et torpillé systématiquement toute réglementation visant la réduction des gazes à effets de serre ( Ges ). Ce chapitre se propose de décrire et mieux comprendre le combat antiécologique mené par le parti conservateur au sein du Parlement fédéral. Il fait voir un lien entre la théologie des organisations évangéliques montant en puissance sur la scène politique et la surprenante dénégation systématique de l’urgence climatique au Canada durant cette période.
