Abstract

Este trabajo contribuye, por un lado, a determinar las implicaciones didácticas de un análisis de trabajos epistemológicos que relacionan números, cálculo y geometría y, por otro lado, a constituir un marco teórico que favorece el análisis del trabajo matemático de los alumnos en el proceso de encuentro entre un objeto matemático y la construcción de su sentido en geometría. El marco teórico consiste en una articulación de elementos asociados al Espacio de Trabajo Matemático y a la mediación semiótica. El método de análisis será bosquejado para presentar finalmente una parte de nuestros resultados de la investigación. Estos resultados corresponden a la determinación de trayectorias de individuos, las cuales resultan de diversas interacciones producidas entre los diferentes planos del Espacio de Trabajo Matemático. Las producciones de los alumnos dan cuenta tanto de los obstáculos como de los inicios que les permitieron relacionar la multiplicación y algunas de sus significaciones geométricas.
