Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou statistických výkazů o sbírkách muzeí České republiky pořízených Asociací muzeí a galerií České republiky v letech 2008-2012 a následným porovnáním struktury sbírek dle této analýzy se stavem v roce 1998. Získaná data jsou pro přehlednost a účely práce interpretovány v podobě tabulek a grafů. Následné porovnání se stavem v roce 1998 u sbírek, kde došlo k významnější změně, je provedeno formou dílčích závěrů vždy u příslušné úrovně. Součástí práce je také analýza možných příčin ve změnách počtu sbírkových předmětů. Práce rovněž obsahuje nástin vývoje muzejnictví v českých zemích s důrazem na období od konce 19. století.
