La Commission d’enquête sur les services de santé et les services sociaux au Québec a rendu son rapport public en février dernier. Son mandat, très large, était d’évaluer le fonctionnement de l’ensemble du système socio-sanitaire québécois. En se référant à l’analyse et aux principales recommandations du rapport, l’auteur propose ici une lecture de leurs « a priori » technocratiques. Le point de vue technocratique qui imprègne ce rapport met de l’avant une rationalité qui, tout en intégrant « la critique à son analyse », a tendance à évacuer la réalité des rapports de pouvoir qui demeurent constitutifs du fonctionnement du système. Il n’est donc pas surprenant de constater à l’arrivée que le consensus visé au départ demeure introuvable!
