Cet article partage les résultats d’une étude menée auprès de jeunes en deuil. La mort, qui survient dans une étape de la vie déjà lourde de mutation, vient frapper le jeune dans son psychisme et dans sa vie quotidienne. Des ressources ont déjà été identifiées pour aider les professionnels de l’Éducation nationale à soutenir des élèves qui traversent un deuil. À partir de ces ressources, l’étude a eu pour but de repérer celles qui sont aidantes pour le jeune, comment et à quelles conditions. Quatre groupes de discussion – avec 13 jeunes en deuil et 28 témoins – et des entretiens téléphoniques avec des jeunes endeuillés ont fait émerger des propositions intéressantes sur ces outils et la manière de les proposer. Les jeunes ont exprimé leur reconnaissance pour l’intérêt porté sur ce sujet et la volonté de les impliquer dans la réflexion.
