056 Prevalence of Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder Criteria in a Sample of Canadian Undergraduate Students
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Persistent genital arousal disorder (PGAD)1 is characterized by symptoms of physiological sexual arousal (vasocongestion, sensitivity of the genitals and nipples) that are described as intrusive and unwanted. PGAD is associated with distress, worry, depression, and stress2. Little is known about PGAD, including its prevalence. One previous study3 found that 1.0% (n = 1/96) of women attending a sexual health clinic endorsed all five of the original PGAD criteria1, however, 33.3% (n = 32/96) endorsed one or more of the criteria. The present study sought to investigate the prevalence of the PGAD criteria in an undergraduate student population. First year psychology students (N = 1641) at Queen’s University (Kingston, ON) completed a brief questionnaire of the five PGAD criteria indicating for each criterion: ‘I do not experience this’ (0) to ‘I experience this often’ (10). Those who endorsed experiencing any of the PGAD criteria also answered one additional question regarding their feelings about these criteria from ‘enjoyable’ (0) to ‘distressing’ (10).

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
