Les Centres de Santé constituent de nouvelles structures socio-médicales où exercent des équipes pluridisciplinaires intégrées dans leur quartier d’implantation. Leur nombre est encore très restreint en France. L’article s’intéresse à un aspect particulier de ces Centres : celui de la participation des usagers à la mise en place des structures communautaires de santé et à l’élaboration d’une politique locale de santé. L’exemple étudié est celui de la Villeneuve à Grenoble. L’expérience doit faire faire à une série de conflits relatifs à la participation et au financement. D’une façon générale, les causes des difficultés de la participation des usagers peuvent être liées :
