Abstract
Cette contribution vise à identifier les territorialités multiples jouant un rôle dans les mécanismes de conflits liés à l’environnement en caractérisant les signes visibles de l’attachement au(x) lieu(x), observé dans diverses études menées dans des espaces littoraux français. Il ressort de notre analyse que l’attachement au lieu peut se révéler par la vivacité des réactions d’opposition, la constitution de collectifs d’opposition, la violence d’actes de contestation, l’inscription matérielle des revendications, l’emploi d’adjectifs possessifs dans les argumentaires. Ces marqueurs d’attachement au lieu révèlent des territorialités qu’il est important de considérer dans les processus de régulation notamment parce que leur non-prise en compte conduit très généralement, dans les cas étudiés, à une radicalisation des oppositions.
