Abstract
L’Amérique latine est une région à revenus moyens. Cette particularité la situe dans cet espace indéfini qui sépare les pays pauvres des pays développés membres de l’OCDE. Comme l’attestent nombre de ses indicateurs économiques et sociaux ainsi que son niveau d’infrastructures, elle devance largement les pays pauvres, mais, parmi ceux qui la composent, très peu approchent le seuil du développement.
