Estudio de caso familiar de enfoque cualitativo, el cual se realizó en una familia que habita en la ciudad de México, de enero a mayo del 2015, bajo la metodología del Proceso Atención de Enfermería. Para la valoración, se utilizó el Modelo Calgary e instrumentos que permitieron detectar alteraciones de salud en los procesos familiares y en el rol del cuidador; se identificaron las necesidades de salud presentes, para lo cual se utilizó la taxonomía de diagnósticos NANDA, posteriormente se aplicaron intervenciones de enfermería basadas en evidencia, obteniéndose resultados favorables en la comunicación y relación familiar; apoyando en el desarrollo individual y dando las herramientas necesarias para resolver las adversidades que se vayan presentando en el día a día.
