Abstract
Dans le contexte des restructurations des années quatre-vingt, la question du développement local et régional se pose en termes nouveaux. Les problématiques théoriques de l’associationnisme, de la décentralisation et de l’autonomie locale reposent sur des logiques spécifiques et ne sauraient être considérées comme complémentaires. D’autre part, au cours de la dernière décennie sont apparues un certain nombre de dichotomies conceptuelles qui font figure de définisseurs des conditions opératoires plus qu’elles ne relèvent de raisonnements explicatifs. L’article propose quatre thèmes reliés à ce questionnement, qui éclairent les conditions et les conséquences de l’apparition du développement local et régional.
