Abstract
A coletânea organizada por Octave Debary e Laurier Turgeon reune, em uma perspectiva interdisciplinar, a reflexao de antropologos, psicologos, historiadores da arte e museologos em torno da articulacao de dois conceitos chaves das Ciencias Sociais: o conceito de objeto e o conceito de memoria. Publicada em 2007, por Les Presses de l´Universite Laval em Quebec, Canada, a obra organiza as contribuicoes de treze pesquisadores ao longo do coloquio patrocinado pelo Centre Interuniversitaire d’etudes sur les Arts et les Traditions que aconteceu no Canada, no ano de 2004.
