Les ressources informationnelles en langue arabe disponibles sur la Toile peuvent elles répondre aux attentes des jeunes en matière d’information et de culture ? Pour décrire les pratiques culturelles des jeunes Libanais, notamment en matière de lecture et d’usage de l’internet, cette étude réalisée par Maud Stephan-Hachem se fonde sur les résultats d’une enquête auprès de jeunes étudiants. Elle se penche ensuite sur le type d’information, de sites, d’ouvrages numérisés dont disposent les jeunes qui ne lisent que l’arabe. Quels contenus leur propose-t-on et sous quelles formes ? L’offre numérique, tant scientifique que culturelle, est-elle facilement accessible, est-elle suffisamment attractive, dynamique, interactive, pour inciter à lire et s’informer en arabe ?
