Abstract
The philosophic work of Gilles Deleuze is used to highlight how the public library has changed from an institution for disciplinary purposes to an organization where control is distributed over a network. There is no ideal traditional library to which librarians can return. Instead we must develop new tools to resist new forms of domination.L'œuvre philosophique de Gilles Deleuze est utilisée pour souligner comment les bibliothèques sont passées d'institutions à but disciplinaire à organisations où le contrôle est distribué via un réseau. La bibliothèque traditionnelle idéale où les bibliothécaires peuvent retourner n'existe pas. Il faut plutôt concevoir de nouveaux outils pour résister à de nouvelles formes de domination.
