Tandis que la linguistique étudie depuis longtemps de nombreux aspects liés au plurilinguisme, les recherches se rapportant aux pratiques de l'écrit par des personnes plurilingues occupent toujours une place marginale.On a longtemps négligé le fait que les personnes plurilingues ne communiquent pas seulement dans plusieurs langues à l'oral mais également à l'écrit, ce médium demandant d'autres ressources structurelles.À la lumière de deux études de cas sur les pratiques de l'écrit de personnes plurilingues au Canada et dans la République de Moldavie, nous exposons les relations existantes entre le plurilinguisme et la plurilittératie.De surcroit, nous souhaitons montrer le rôle joué par la plurilittératie dans la théorie de l'élaboration langagière et ce que signifie pour un individu plurilingue le fait d'écrire dans une ou plusieurs langues.
