Abstract
Le « néo-clerc » sait interpréter le secret des choses de la vie grâce à une confrontation directe avec la réalité. Le travailleur social en est un quelquefois, mais il exclut le monopole et la spécialisation, pour se mettre en condition de ressourcement auprès d’un « sacré sauvage ». Cette aspiration à recomposer à partir des forces vives s’enracine dans une trajectoire familiale et dans une carrière professionnelle où le travail social n’est souvent qu’une étape. Quelques travailleurs sociaux semblent avoir trouvé le moyen de « jongler » avec les paradoxes et de « bricoler » des solutions aux situations limites. Eux seuls ne sont pas des « néo-clercs » qui s’ignorent ou se sous-estiment.
