Abstract
This article addresses the issue of the professionalization of programs in Quebec university field. How does professionalization contribute to the construction of the curricular offer ? How is this notion interpreted and mobilized in the creation of new programs and the modification of existing ones ? Our examination of the intellectual referents underlying these processes together with our thematic analysis of such program records in two universities show that professionalization appears as a rather minor issue.
