Eight options are described for evidence upon which an assessment can be made about student's performance in solving problems.  The options illustrate forms for gathering evidence about the problem-solving process used.  Some illustrative examples are given of how some of these options compare with the option of marking process and the answer described in Part 1.  Suggestions are given on how to use student assessment data and other forms of evidence to evaluate program effectiveness, as might be done for ABET 2000.  Some examples of pre- and post-tests and the results of exit questionnaires are given.
