Bien que la diversité ethnoculturelle soit une réalité récente à l’école francophone en milieu minoritaire acadien, elle attire déjà l’attention des acteurs éducatifs, notamment en ce qui a trait à sa gestion pédagogique par les enseignantes et les enseignants. Cet article analyse le vécu d’enseignantes et d’enseignants francophones, tel qu’ils l’ont raconté, en ce qui concerne la gestion de la diversité ethnoculturelle en classe multiculturelle. Une analyse qualitative inspirée de la théorisation ancrée a été effectuée. Il ressort des résultats que la gestion de la diversité ethnoculturelle à l’école francophone du Nouveau-Brunswick se présente comme un nouvel enjeu pédagogique auquel le personnel enseignant tente d’apporter des solutions en matière de pratiques. En dépit des avantages de cette diversité, les résultats indiquent des défis institutionnels et pédagogiques liés notamment à la collaboration enseignants-parents et à la préparation à l’enseignement dans une classe multiculturelle. Pour faire face à ces défis, plusieurs pratiques sont mises en oeuvre par le personnel enseignant.
