Abstract
Le Québec vit présentement une crise démographique sans précédent, plus grave encore que celle qui touche l’Europe occidentale. Cette crise reflète davantage un nouveau modèle de fécondité qu’une « crise de la famille ». Les bénéfices engendrés par la dénatalité ont été encaissés, pour l’essentiel, et on se dirige vers un conflit majeur entre la politique de la vieillesse et la politique de la famille.
