Abstract
O desenvolvimento local é um assunto na moda daqui por diante. Agora, alvo da globalização, ele será um modelo alternativo de desenvolvimento, mais adiante, será principalmente uma estratégia renovada ou até mesmo uma estratégia de último recurso no pastas de nossos altos governos. Nesse debate, os meios locais engasgam com frequência. Situados em primeiro lugar, no nível da ação, eles se sentem muito distantes dos modelos elaborados pelas universidades e consideram muitas vezes as políticas e os programas governamentais mal-adaptados à realidade local. Este artigo tenta modestamente entender sua dinâmica e mais precisamente conceitualizar o que ocorre quando uma comunidade tenta, sistematicamente, acelerar seu desenvolvimento.
