Abstract
L'histoire de l'artisanat et des corporations connaît depuis une quinzaine d'années un net essor en Allemagne, en Autriche et en Suisse.L'utilisation de documents issus de la pratique des acteurs concernés, et non plus seulement de sources normatives, a permis un renouvellement des approches et des concepts, ce qui a permis l'éclosion d'un courant dit « révisionniste » s'inscrivant en faux contre une vision traditionnelle des corporations qui voyaient en elles des institutions conservatrices et sclérosées.C'est donc à un état de connaissances actuelles qu'entend procéder A.K. dans cet ouvrage de synthèse qui repose sur l'utilisation de la bibliographie consacrée à ce thème.La concision du titre ne le dit pas, mais ce livre porte sur les corporations en Allemagne, en Autriche et en Suisse du XIIe s. au XIXe s.
