As Cambindas de Taperoá na TV: reflexões sobre a produção de um documentário

Abstract
Esta comunicação se propõe abordar a realização de um documentário sobre as Cambindas Novas de Taperoá, produzido pela TV Itararé, – filiada da TV Cultura no Estado da Paraíba – e as relações que se estabeleceram entre os dançantes e o interesse desse meio de comunicação em registrar e reconhecer essa dança durante esta produção televisiva. Cabe anotarmos que a Cambinda começou a ser praticada naquela localidade, quando um negro “andarilho”, ensinou a João Levino, uma dança que segundo ele vinha da África. Desde então, os descendentes de João Levino encenam e praticam há mais de um século as Cambindas na cidade de Taperoá. A partir de um esforço reflexivo e etnográfico sobre a preparação dos praticantes das Cambindas para a realização das filmagens, como também a reflexão sobre a proposta do registro audiovisual, foi possível delinear as relações que os brincantes faziam ao dançar reivindicando das lentes das câmeras de televisão o reconhecimento de sua prática.Palavras-chaves: Cambindas.
