Abstract
L’article apporte une etude de The Quebec Gazette - La Gazette de Quebec, le plus ancien periodique en francais en Amerique du Nord, ainsi que le plus ancien periodique bilingue anglais-francais au monde. La premiere Gazette de Quebec a ete publiee le 21 juin 1794 par William Brown and Thomas Gilmore. Elle apporte des nouvelles politiques et commerciales d’Europe, d’Asie, de l’Amerique du Nord et d’autres pays et continents. Nous analysons quelques nouvelles relatant la situation politique mouvementee de l’Europe Centrale des annees 1765-1770. Nous etudions egalement la diversite des nouvelles publiees dans cet hebdomadaire.
