La Lozana andaluza: migración y pluralismo religioso en el Mediterráneo

Abstract
Este artículo explora la pluralidad religiosa en la curia romana antes de la reforma eclesiástica, retratada en La Lozana andaluza en tanto microcosmos del mundo mediterráneo. En este contexto, se argumenta el papel central que poseen el humanismo, el comercio y la parodia satírico-literaria de corrientes espirituales como el milenarismo. Los desafíos de la sociedad multiconfesional romana, vista por un autor de origen hispano andalusí y redibujada en sucesivas olas migratorias, sirven así mismo para trazar un puente que posibilita su enseñanza en el aula a través del análisis comparativo de los problemas actuales relativos al éxodo en el Mediterráneo, la regulación de la inmigración y las visiones apocalípticas. Desde esta perspectiva, La Lozana incorpora un pasado plurilingüe mediante el que reconsiderar la pluralidad religiosa en el canon de la literatura española, ahondando en la reflexión sobre las continuidades de la temprana modernidad con las realidades del mundo contemporáneo.
