Abstract
L’étude de la mise en place du contrôle de gestion dans trois entreprises françaises, familiales et industrielles, de taille intermédiaire (ETI), montre qu’elle ne dépend pas que de la taille de l’entreprise et que le contrôle de gestion est plus porteur d’une logique de rationalisation que d’une logique de financiarisation. Le processus de structuration du contrôle de gestion est limité dans ses objectifs et incomplet dans l’instrumentation qui en résulte. Le système de pilotage de la performance sur lequel il débouche n’accorde qu’un pouvoir d’influence modéré au nouveau contrôleur de gestion.
