Abstract
L’artrodesi rappresenta una terapia chirurgica di salvataggio in situazio-ni in cui non e possibile ristabilire la funzionalita di un’articolazione epertanto il chirurgo si pone l’obiettivo di eliminare il dolore senza ri-correre all’amputazione dell’arto. Il quadro clinico che piu frequente-mente richiede un’artrodesi di gomito risulta da una frattura intercon-diloidea di omero esitata in gravi complicazioni.
