Abstract
Depuis ses débuts en bande dessinée en 1939, le récit de Batman a été adapté à plusieurs reprises dans les médias. Dans le présent article, les auteurs étudient le traitement médiagénique de certains récits de Batman, sous l’angle de la narratologie médiatique, en privilégiant l’univers fictionnel comme prisme d’étude. Plus particulièrement, ils s’intéressent à des adaptations marquées par un véritable affrontement entre le créatif et le commercial. Si la médiagénie se révèle être un mariage réussi entre un média et un récit, sa réussite ne dépendrait-elle pas aussi du lien à double sens entre l’économique et le créatif ?
