Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The manipulation of white phosphorus (P 4 ) has been a long-standing challenge for chemists. While the holy grail remains at finding a method to catalytically activate and functionalize P 4 to yield new organophosphorus compounds, fundamental research lies in developing procedures to control the reactivity of elemental phosphorus. In this work, Lewis acidic transition metal moieties M(CO) 5 (M = Cr, Mo, W) and AuCl react with P 4 derivatized with a low valent germanium compound. For both M(CO) 5 and AuCl, bis-functionalized products can be formed; however the monosubstituted derivatives are found to be more stable, and the decomposition can be monitored by 31 P{ 1 H} NMR spectroscopy. The selective reactivity of white phosphorus, once a P–P bond has been activated, is a key step in yielding new organophosphorus compounds.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
