Abstract
In the last two decades, international double degree programs have gained popularity in academia and, to some extinct, they have become the cornerstone of internationalization activities around the world. This aspect is due to their compelling standing in promoting and reinforcing the newly formed European Area of Higher Education that encourages student mibility across Europe. This paper speaks to the proliferation of these programs and their possible impacts in fostering global citizenship at Ontario Universities. Grounded in hermeneutic phenomenology, this, still eveolving study, critically delves into students' experiences in the international double degree programs.
