Abstract
Certification is a signal that is incorporated into property markets with an application to apartments. Green certification enhances a corporation’s image by portraying it in a positive light that the company is interested in helping the environment. Green certifications also help to attract and retain talented employees. Often, the effects of energy-efficient processes are not visible, so certifications provide interested parties independent verification that a building is indeed energy efficient. There are other benefits of receiving certification, lowering operating costs.
