Forskningsspørgsmålene er: 1.Hvordan og i hvilket omfang støttes nyuddannede lærere i Danmark de første tre år i deres professionelle virke? 2.Hvad ved vi fra national og international forskning om betydningen af lærerstartsordninger? Herunder hvilke muligheder der er for at finde fodfæste og for kompetence- og karriereudvikling? 3.Hvordan praktiserer andre lande som Norge, New Zealand, Holland, Finland, Ontario, Japan og Schweiz lærerstartsordninger? 4. a) Hvordan kan en lærerstartsordning designes og implementeres i en dansk kontekst? og b) hvor ligger mulighederne og udfordringerne for skolen og de nye lærere?
