Abstract
The article is a hybrid between symposium account, personal account, and critical reflection on Q2Q: Symposium on Queer Theatre and Performance. It reflects on the challenging conversations around diversity, equity, and inclusion that were central aspects of the one-week conference. The article observes the issues of race and gender from a personal and cultural standpoint while opening a window for discussion and open analysis on what defines our contemporary framework.
