In November 2003, the Supreme Court of Canada heard arguments over an important copyright case, which will have ramifications for libraries and archives. The matter involves the Law Society of Upper Canada and a number of legal publishers — including CCH Canadian Limited, Canada Law Book Incorporated and Carswell.
