Abstract
L’art d’Adrian Göllner repose sur la transposition d’un contenu artistique du passé au présent et à l’avenir. Son art conceptuel est solidement fondé sur la matérialité : il construit ainsi des appareils pour rendre ses concepts visibles. Afin d’explorer ses créations, nous invoquons les concepts du diagramme, de l’index, de la trace graphique et proposons la notion de l’indexicalité spéculative. Ces concepts, d’après les théories de Joselit, Meltzer, Buchloh, Krauss et Iversen, répondent de façon ambigüe à la division entre les arts et les sciences, l’objectivité et la spéculation, les connaissances et les sensations, ce pourquoi ils sont importants dans l’analyse de l’oeuvre de cet artiste qui s’intéresse à l’histoire à travers une expression abstraite et conceptuelle. Les sujets des oeuvres analysées ici touchent la bombe atomique, la réparation d’horloges anciennes, la musique pop des années 1960, l’archéoacoustique, et les blessures mortelles du général Wolfe.
