Abstract
Notre propos est de traiter de l’inscription des discours amérindiens dans l’ Histoire du Canada de Gabriel Sagard. Le principal enjeu de cette étude est de fournir une analyse des exemples de ré-énonciation de la parole « sauvage » qui zèbrent le texte du récollet, en prenant en compte leur dimension thématique et pragmatique et en posant la question de leur authenticité. Un autre enjeu de l’analyse vise les rapports entre la maîtrise discursive et le gouvernement des Autochtones.
