Abstract
L’article s’intéresse à la figure extraordinairement populaire du ministre citoyen que fut Alexandre Kerensky d’abord à la Justice puis à la Guerre dans le gouvernement provisoire issu des journées de Février. Il démontre que les bolcheviks, malgré l’avis négatif porté par Lénine en interne sur ce Louis Blanc de la révolution russe (en référence à 1848 en France) n’osèrent pas le critiquer, le considérant comme « intouchable » avant les premiers signes de désaffection venus des soldats. Confrontant notamment les écrits d’époque de Kerenski et de Lénine à ceux qu’ils rédigèrent a posteriori , Kolonitsky remet en cause bien des idées reçues sur la culture politique de la Russie en révolution.
