Abstract
The aim of this paper is to explore the autobiographical and theoretical forms of entry in Walter Benjamin’s essay Berlin childhood, and, on the other hand, to present a diverse/flexible/ hybrid theory by which is realized a meaningful framework of analysis. According to this, the contextual interpretation of the story The Sock is, in fact, an intertextual play between autobiography (text!) and theory (footnote!).
