PERSPECTIVA ESTRATÉGICA EN ORGANIZACIONES DE BASE: CASO JUNTAS DE ACCIÓN COMUNAL

Abstract
Los cambios recurrentes del entorno generan incertidumbre e inestabilidad a las organizaciones, tanto para organizaciones con ánimo o sin ánimo de lucro, en razón de ello durante décadas las organizaciones con ánimo de lucro han mirado de manera estratégica como crecer y mantenerse en el mercado a través de identificar la situación actual y proyección hacia al futuro. En igual sentido, las organizaciones sin ánimo de lucro en los últimos años vienen utilizando esa mirada estratégica como medio para ser mucho más efectivas en su gestión y sostenibilidad, aunque su fin último es de carácter social. El objetivo de este documento es presentar los hallazgos del estudio realizado sobre planeación estratégica en Juntas de Acción Comunal, ubicadas en la ciudad de Barranquilla- Colombia. Con este propósito se hizo revisión bibliográfica sobre el tema; así mismo se aplicó cuestionario a los presidentes de 50 juntas de juntas de acción comunal, cuyas respuestas fueron tratadas mediante un análisis descriptivo. Los principales resultados reflejan que la perspectiva estratégica es un tema muy incipiente en las organizaciones estudiadas, en tanto sus líderes, solo piensan el día a día y adolecen de las competencias gerenciales. Presentan baja capacidad estratégica para lo interno y poder establecer alianzas urgentes y necesarias para la sostenibilidad de las organizaciones. En conclusión, la perspectiva estratégica representa un desafío para las organizaciones en estudio y desde luego una herramienta para dimensionar estas organizaciones a largo plazo en pro del desarrollo de los territorios.
