O Centro da francofonia das Américas (CFA) é um organismo ativo desde 2008, cujo principal objetivo é aumentar o acesso, a participação e a visibilidade da francofonia das Américas. Nesta entrevista realizada por Oscar Augusto Berg, Denis Desgagnés, Presidente-Diretor do Centro desde 2011, apresenta o percurso, os programas e as aspirações do CFA, assim como o estado atual e os desafios da francofonia no Quebec, em contexto minoritário canadense e nas Américas. Atuando na cultura, na economia, na educação, na comunicação e na pesquisa, o CFA estimula o intercâmbio, a criação de vínculos duradores e a realização de ações reunindo os francófonos de toda a América. Nós assistimos, atualmente, à emergência de uma francofonia das Américas inclusiva, solidária e em movimento, da qual Denis Desgagnés faz, aqui, uma apaixonante defesa.
