Este artículo se interesa en las relaciones desarrolladas entre colombianos establecidos en la provincia de Quebec (Canadá), así como en las relaciones de estos con su país de origen. Según las entrevistas realizadas a refugiados colombianos, no existe una comunidad transnacional en el seno de esta población, debido, principalmente, a la falta de confianza y a las tensiones palpables entre sus miembros. Veintisiete de estas personas afirman haber percibido en el exilio una forma de transposición de dinámicas, asociadas al conflicto colombiano y marcadas por el temor a entrar en contacto con personas que, por ende, se asocian con un "campo adverso".
