Abstract
L’article présente l’histoire illustrée de l’art radiophonique, afin de démontrer que la radio peut être employée au-delà de son rôle traditionnel de commerce ou de contrôle. Utilisant les possibilités, l’infrastructure et les technologies de la radio, l’art radio cherche à produire des artefacts créateurs d’un véritable médium radiophonique qui, tout en dépendant du canal de la radio pour leur création, leur communication et leur consommation implique l’auditoire dans de nouvelles pratiques artistiques.L’article donne accès à de nombreux extraits sonores répertoriés sur le site de Radio Nouspace : http://www.radionouspace.net/inquiries/appareil.html
