Abstract
L'oeuvre de Marguerite Duras suscite depuis quelques annees une abondance de commentaires. Pascal Durand a denonce la demission de la critique devant la necessite de comprendre et analyser l'univers de l'ecrivain. Les etudes consacrees a Marguerite Duras apparaissent souvent comme un «ressassement», une repetition «quasi-litanique ou rituelle» preludant a une divinisation. Duras fait aujourd'hui l'objet d'un culte: une pretresse de ce culte l'a comparee a un Bouddha feminin.
