<p>Mi trabajo pretende realizar una discusión teórica y metodológica sobre las nuevas formas sociales de producción de desigualdad social a través de la difusión de estilos de vida dinámicos e hipermodernos entre las nuevas élites del capitalismo avanzado. El estudio de caso de jóvenes profesionistas altamente calificados, miembros de la llamada “clase creativa”, me servirá para analizar las aristas del discurso del capitalismo cognitivo a partir del estudio del deporte practicado de forma amateur en el espacio social del tiempo libre. La sociología de las desigualdades sociales, especialmente aquélla propuesta por Robert Castel, así como la teoría relacional de Norbert Elias, son los dos ejes a partir de los cuales analizaré la transmisión y la reproducción de una nueva cultura de clase.</p>
