Abstract
Le présent article légitime la production de planches de BD dans le cours de français, en distinguant deux compétences essentielles : le découpage du récit et la mise en page. Il montre que la BD peut modifier le rapport à l’écrit et révéler chez certains élèves des compétences d’écriture narrative que l’on ne soupçonnait pas. L’article jete les bases d’une didactique de la BD sur le versant de la production, et ouvre un champ d’étude nouveau dans le cours de français : celui de la création scénaristique.
